Karachi, August 07, 2024<\/strong> \u2013 The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP)<\/a> has merged its two subsidiaries, the National Institute of Banking and Finance (NIBAF)<\/a> and the Institute of Bankers Pakistan (IBP)<\/a>, to form NIBAF Pakistan. This strategic move aims to strengthen the preparation of human resources for the banking and financial sectors.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

SBP Governor Jameel Ahmad highlighted that this merger aligns with the national goals of advancing professional development, promoting best practices, and supporting economic development initiatives. He urged banks and financial institutions to actively collaborate with NIBAF Pakistan and utilize its resources to foster positive change and build a robust financial sector.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

During the launch ceremony of NIBAF Pakistan, held at the NIBAF Pakistan Karachi Office, Governor Ahmad emphasized the critical importance of developing skills and setting high standards for the financial sector.
