The extension will take effect from April 16, 2026, and will continue under the existing terms and conditions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"692\" data-end=\"833\">BOP stated that the approval follows a formal notification issued by the Finance Department, Government of Punjab, also dated April 13, 2026.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"835\" data-end=\"1138\">In its official filing, the bank confirmed that the Board has approved the continuation of Masud\u2019s contract for an additional year without any changes to the current terms. The development has been formally communicated to the PSX for dissemination among TRE certificate holders and market participants.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1140\" data-end=\"1621\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">According to the bank\u2019s official website, Masud has been serving as CEO since 2020. He brings over 27 years of experience in banking and finance, having held senior leadership roles at global institutions including <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Barclays<\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Citibank<\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Dubai Islamic Bank<\/span><\/span>, and <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">American Express Bank<\/span><\/span>.
