Islamabad, Pakistan \u2013<\/strong> HBL Microfinance Bank (HBL MfB)<\/a> has announced the appointment of Maya Inayat Ismail<\/a> as the new Chairperson of its Board of Directors, succeeding Rayomond H. Kotwal.<\/p>\n

Maya Inayat Ismail played a key role in the establishment of HBL MfB\u2019s predecessor organization, the First MicroFinance Bank (FMFB), Pakistan\u2019s first microfinance institution. She has been a member of HBL MfB\u2019s Board since 2016 and has chaired the Financial Inclusion and Social Commitment (FISC) Committee, reflecting her deep commitment to financial inclusion. With over 25 years of experience in the financial sector, she has specialized in strategic partnerships<\/a>, financial services, and grassroots development.<\/p>\n

Outgoing Chairman Rayomond H. Kotwal expressed his pride in the Bank\u2019s achievements and optimism for its future under Ismail\u2019s leadership. \u201cIt has been an honor to serve as the Chairman of HBL Microfinance Bank.
