Dubai, UAE:<\/strong> Aamir Ibrahim, CEO of Jazz<\/a> and Chairman of Mobilink Microfinance Bank, has been appointed to the Group Executive Committee (GEC) of VEON<\/a>, in addition to his current responsibilities of leading VEON\u2019s businesses in Pakistan. This strategic move aims to strengthen VEON\u2019s alignment with its markets and bolster its ambitious digital services-driven growth plans.<\/p>\n

VEON, a global digital operator headquartered in Dubai and the largest Nasdaq-listed company, operates in six countries, delivering integrated connectivity and digital services.<\/p>\n

Kaan Terzioglu, VEON Group CEO<\/strong>, welcomed the appointment, saying:
