Islamabad, Pakistan:<\/strong> U Microfinance Bank Limited (U Bank)<\/a> has signed a landmark partnership with CARE Pakistan<\/a> and Mastercard<\/a> to improve financial access for women entrepreneurs across Pakistan. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in Islamabad by Mr. Mohamed Essa Al Taheri<\/strong>, President & CEO of U Bank, and Mr. Adil Sheraz<\/strong>, Country Director of CARE Pakistan, in the presence of Mr. Arslan Khan<\/strong>, Country Representative of Mastercard. Senior management and staff from all three organizations also attended the ceremony.<\/p>\n

This collaboration, under the Strive Women Program<\/strong>, aims to bridge the financial inclusion gap by creating innovative, women-centered financial products. By empowering women-led micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), the partnership seeks to foster sustainable growth and enrich communities, advancing the agenda of Women’s Economic Justice (WEJ).<\/p>\n

Speaking at the event, Adil Sheraz<\/strong>, Country Director of CARE Pakistan, highlighted the significance of partnerships in overcoming barriers faced by women entrepreneurs. He emphasized the need to provide tailored support to help them thrive in a competitive environment.<\/p>\n
