KARACHI<\/strong>: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP)<\/a> will celebrate Women Entrepreneurship Day (WED)<\/em> on November 19, 2024, with an event aimed at recognizing and promoting the vital role of women entrepreneurs in the country\u2019s economy.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The event will be inaugurated by SBP Governor Jameel Ahmad at the SBP headquarters and will gather top officials from banks, non-bank financial institutions, and representatives from women\u2019s business associations. The celebration will highlight the contributions of women entrepreneurs across Pakistan and encourage further support for female-led businesses.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

A key highlight of the event will be the presentation of awards to high-performing banks that have shown exceptional commitment to extending loans to female borrowers. Additionally, women-led businesses from various sectors will be honored for their achievements in the entrepreneurial landscape.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
